Drýmann Training Program

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment in this program is open to ordained weobedþegnas, upon approval of the Uþ-Wita, or the Lár-Wita.

DOCUMENTATION

1. A short discussion of each rune of the Frisian Futhorc, via the appropriate forum, or written and submitted to the student’s mentor in person.

2. A treatise on one of the following ritual technologies, of the students choice: ( At least 2,000 words )

  • Rúncræft
  • Lacnunga
  • Tungolcræft
  • Wiccacræft
  • Wiglung

3. Documentation of a ritual using one or more of the above methodologies.  Provide script, and commentary on the result.
4. A short essay on one of the following aspects of philosophy as it pertains to Fyrnsidu: (1,000 words minimum)

  • Aesthetics
  • Semantic Logic
  • Epistemology
  • Metaphysics
  • Ethics

5. A short essay on one of the following subjects: (500 words minimum)

  • Doxastic Practice
  • Animism
  • Panentheism
  • Shamanism

PROJECT

The student must create a project to demonstrate proficiency at wonder-working, or alternately, generate a written, material, semantic, practical or ritual master-work that shows proficiency in Germanic history, philosophy, holistic health-care, counseling, or esoteric arts.
