Wuldor

Wuldor is an enigmatic figure, he is a sorcerer of great ability and is a god of winter time. He is closely associated with Yule, as well as the winter time. He is commonly called the ski ase as well as the bow ase denoting his connection with the arts of winter survival. Wuldor is the lone huntsman, quietly stalking his quarry in the snowcovered wilderness. As mentioned before he is also a sorcerer of great repute, seeking knowledge in the remote and unknown corners of the universe. He is a patron to those who strive against thier challenges alone. Wuldor was also called upon for aid in duels, where again he aids those who fight or struggle alone against thier adversities. Another important aspect of this shadowy god is his role in oath taking. The oath ring is one of his sacred symbols and he was often invoked when oaths were spoken. For this reason some speculate that he is the “all mighty ase” named in many ritual oaths. Wuldor has close connections with the yew tree, and in Norse tradition his otherworldly home is called Yew-dales.
